The gnomes have taken over New Zealand’s Smallest Gallery!

On 12 August, Heather Pendergrast opened her exhibition, Gnomeville, at New Zealand’s Smallest Gallery in Noriss Ward Park.

The walls are filled with colourful paintings of gnomes celebrating festivals and getting up to all sorts of adventures. Look down and you’ll find even more! Little gnome sculptures fill the floor of the miniature gallery, rolling around, playing amongst mushrooms and creating their own tiny Gnomeville world.

It’s a fun little exhibition with plenty to discover, take a closer look and see what all the gnomes are getting up to!
