Discover NZ's Smallest Gallery

Welcome to NZ's Smallest Gallery - a one-window art space in the heart of Hamilton.

Part of Arts for Health, this quirky little gallery proves big things can happen in small spaces. Tucked beside our Arts for Health building on Seddon Road, it’s visible from Norris Ward Park and open whenever we are.

It’s tiny - the smallest gallery in Aotearoa - but filled with local art and big-hearted ideas. With rotating displays from artists and community groups, it’s designed to surprise, delight, and spark conversation.

Where is it?
Arts for Health, 2 Seddon Road, Hamilton (park-facing, across from Hamilton Girls’ High). Free to view, no bookings needed.

Why did we build it?
Because art should be for everyone. Whether you’re walking the dog, heading to work, or just wandering by, NZ's Smallest Gallery brings creativity into everyday life. It’s also a fun way to connect with the wider work of Arts for Health, where art supports wellbeing, friendship, and identity.
