Love making art but never seem to find enough time for it?
Tuesday Night Art Group gives you three uninterrupted hours each week to bring your own project, settle in and create alongside other local artists and creative people.
There are no set projects and no pressure to keep up with anyone else. Work on whatever you like, at your own pace, while enjoying the company of a small group who love making art too.
It's a chance to make time for your art, meet like-minded people and become part of a regular creative group.
This is a self-directed art group rather than a taught class. There is no tutor or set project — you bring what you're working on and use the studio as your creative space for the evening.

6.00 pm–9.00 pm
NZ$200 for the full 10-week pilot, paid as one payment

Why join?
Tuesday nights are your time to create.
Bring the painting you haven't finished, start something new, work on your sketchbook or simply spend three hours doing the creative work you never seem to find time for at home.
You'll be creating alongside the same small group each week, giving you the chance to get to know other local artists, share ideas, have a chat and enjoy making art around people who get it.
No lessons. No deadlines. No pressure. Just dedicated time, a creative space and good compan
What to bring
Bring your own art project, materials and any specialist equipment you need. There is no storage, so everything must be taken home after each session.
What is provided
The studio has tables and chairs, a sink, basic kitchen access, tea and coffee ($2 donation), safe access and free on-site parking.
How the group will work
Only registered participants may attend. Visitors and friends cannot stay during sessions. Conversation is welcome.
Everyone is expected to respect other participants, look after the studio, clean up their workspace and follow the closing and lock-up arrangements.

Use the form below to register your interest in the Tuesday night art pilot. Places will be offered to people who are a good fit for a small, consistent studio group. Registering your interest does not guarantee a place.
We will contact suitable participants with confirmation and payment information. The pilot will proceed when at least seven participants have accepted their places and paid the full fee.
