The Art Room Project is a teens art wellbeing programme in Hamilton for girls aged 14–17. Through therapeutic creative journaling, art-making, reflection, and conversation, participants are supported to explore their strengths, values, interests, and goals in a safe and welcoming environment.
Using a repurposed book as the foundation for a personal journal, participants will experiment with collage, drawing, writing, and mixed-media techniques while creating a journal that reflects their own story. This programme is designed to support confidence, self-awareness, resilience, and wellbeing through creativity. No artistic experience is needed.
Meet Your Tutor – Abbie Abbie McCall is a registered teacher and arts therapy student who is passionate about supporting young people through creativity.
