Arts for Health offers art therapy with Registered Arts Therapists. These clinicians hold clinical degrees, are registered professionals with The Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association (ANZACATA) and participate in regular supervision. Sessions are suitable for children or adults experiencing mild to medium levels of anxiety, stress, grief, or loss.

Session Details – Hamilton Art Therapy

• Commitment: Minimum of 6 sessions

• Cost: $150 per 50-minutes session, payment due on the day of each appointment.

• Materials: All art materials provided

• Attendance: Please let us know if you cannot attend. Missing more than 2 sessions without notice will conclude your therapy.

The Process
A senior arts therapist reviews your request and lets you know if we are the right fit for you.

If we accept your referral we will schedule a time/day for your appointment and send you a consent form.

The consent form must be completed before therapy starts or on the day of your first session if you have questions for the therapist.

We ask you to commit to at least 6 consecutive sessions to ensure that a meaningful piece of work can be achieved together.

Please note. We have limited spaces available throughout the year - this may result in a wait period. We will let you know if there is a wait time when we review your request for service.

If our therapists are not the right fit for your needs, we can direct you to another service provider.
