Hamilton's Open Studio

Calling all budding artists, its time to add a splash of colour to your life. Hamilton's Open Studio is a friendly and safe place for you to get creative and make your own art.

We are open every day of the week and for a small fee of $5 per session you have access to everything you need to get started on your very own artistic journey. Choose from our range of paints, brushes, paper, pencils, pastels, and basic sculpting tools and materials, buy a canvas from us or feel free to bring along your own, or any special materials that you would like to use. If you like to use oil paints please make sure that they are non smelling.

You don't have to be an expert to come along – we welcome everyone aged 15 and over although we have the occasional younger artist attending with an adult. If you are a group who would like to create together contact us to see how we can help you.

Our friendly art leaders are always on hand to give you tips and advice. And if you want to enhance your skills, we also offer a range of art workshops and classes each term. Whether you want to drop by for an hour or spend the whole day, we'd love to see you and help you explore your creativity.

We are wheelchair friendly, have free onsite parking and if you have a support worker, they are welcome too. Create amazing artwork and meet like-minded people at our Open Studio in Hamilton, New Zealand.
