Would you like constructive feedback on an artwork you are working on?

Join award-winning Hamilton artist Chris Greenslade for this practical artist feedback Hamilton. Bring along one piece of your own work and get an experienced artist's perspective on what is working, what you might explore further and where you could take the work next.

This is a relaxed opportunity to talk about your artwork, hear another perspective and continue developing your creative practice.

Who is it for?

This session is suitable for emerging, practising and experienced artists who would like constructive feedback on their work.

You might work in painting, drawing, mixed media or another visual art form. Your artwork does not need to be finished.

What to bring

Bring one artwork you would like feedback on. It can be finished or still in progress.

You may also want to bring a notebook to jot down ideas that come out of the discussion.

Meet Chris Greenslade

Chris Greenslade is a Hamilton-based, award-winning watercolourist working across watercolour and pencil. His work has been acquired by local and national collectors, and his watercolours have received numerous awards, including winning the 2023 Watercolour New Zealand Summer Competition and the Mountain Category at the Pirongia Art Awards.

Chris is currently a gallery artist at Welcome Swallow Gallery in Hamilton East, where his original watercolours are regularly exhibited and sold.

This artist feedback Hamilton session gives local artists the opportunity to discuss their own work directly with an experienced practising artist.
