On 24 August, our Homeschoolers Art Class came together to celebrate their first group exhibition at the Corridor Gallery.

The exhibition featured a range of work created during their classes, including paintings, sculptures and more. The children had the opportunity to see their artwork displayed in a gallery setting, share what they had created with friends and family, and take pride in their work.

The celebration finished with some shared kai, making it a lovely way to recognise everything the group had worked on throughout the term.

Working towards an exhibition gives our homeschoolers something exciting to aim for during their classes, while giving them the experience of creating, selecting and displaying their own artwork for others to enjoy.
