Making Changes 2025 – Arts for Health Annual Art Competition & Exhibition

Making Changes isn’t just an art competition – it’s a celebration of creativity, connection, and community. Each year, this exhibition brings together artists of all ages and backgrounds to share their work, tell their stories, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

We welcome artwork in all visual mediums — painting, textiles, sculpture, mixed media and more. This is your chance to show your work in a professional gallery setting alongside a diverse and inspiring group of creatives.

All entries will be exhibited at ArtsPost Galleries in Hamilton from Friday 24 October to Friday 22 November 2025. Whether you’re a new artist just getting started or someone who’s been creating for years, this is a great opportunity to share your work with the public and grow your confidence.

Opening Night is Thursday 23 October – come along, bring your friends and whānau, and be part of a vibrant night celebrating the creative spirit of our community. We’ll also announce the winner of the $1,000 first prize, with the winning work joining the Arts for Health Community Trust Art Collection.
