Discover watercolour painting in a relaxed, supportive watercolour class designed for beginners and returning artists. These sessions will guide you through paint and watercolour control, colour mixing, washes, composition and perspective.

Each watercolour class will help you to develop new technical skills, become more confident in this medium, and increase your understanding of paint, walking away with a toolbox of new skills by the end of the term. This is a small class of 8 people only to allow plenty of tutor access.

Equipment List for watercolour class. You will need these materials on your first day. Most of these materials can be found at the $2 Shop or KMart. We recommend purchasing paint and brushes from The Warehouse Stationary or Gordon Harris.

12 x Water colour paint tubes including primary colours
3 x Round brushes. (8 size, 12 size, Fine detail paint brush)
1 x Flat blush. (24 size or smaller)
Palette (Can be found at the Gordon Harris)
1 x Waterproof fine line pen.
1 x Drawing pencils. (H)
1 x Eraser.
1 x Water colour paper pads. (More than 200 gsm thickness)
1 x Masking tape. (You can buy it from $2 dollar shop)
