Art in the Making is a series of hands-on art workshops in Hamilton designed for beginners and anyone returning to art after a break. These workshops are ideal if you want to learn practical skills, try new materials, and enjoy a supportive creative environment.
What you’ll learn
Across eight sessions, these art workshops introduce a range of 2D and 3D techniques using mixed media. You’ll explore:
Image and form
Colour and texture
Drawing, printmaking, and simple sculptural processes
Most projects are completed in one session. Some techniques, such as printmaking, may continue over two sessions so you can follow the full process.
Your tutor
These art workshops are led by experienced tutor Eve Cunnane. Eve offers calm, clear guidance and creates a welcoming, non-judgemental space where all creativity is valued. You’ll be supported to experiment, build confidence, and develop skills at your own pace.
