Acrylic Painting Classes

Acrylic Painting Classes in Hamilton teaches adults beginners and intermediates how to paint with acrylics, including colour, composition, and painting techniques.  You will learn acrylic painting step by step. The tutor demonstrates techniques and gives guidance in a relaxed studio environment. Limited to 10 people. 

Meet Your Tutor Jennifer:
Jennifer holds an MA in Painting, brings experience and clear, step-by-step guidance. She adapts each class to students’ needs, helping everyone to build skills and confidence.

Pathway:
After this class, participants can join Open Studio to continue practicing or return to Acrylic Painting Classes to try advanced painting techniques.

Outcomes:

• Learn acrylic painting techniques

• Create at least 2 finished artworks

• Understand colour and composition

• Build painting confidence

Equipment List: which you will need on the first day.

12x Acrylic paint 12ml tubes including primary colours
2x Acrylic paint tubes more than 75ml (white, blue)
1x Round brushes (size 6 or 8 )
1x Fine detail paint brush
3x Flat brushes. (sizes 4 size, 8 & 12)
1x Drawing pencils.(H)
1x Eraser
Paint Palette (Tear off paper Palette or paper foil)
1x Masking tape (found at the $2 dollar shop.)
Acrylic paper pads (more than 300gsm)

Most materials can be found at the $2 dollar shop or The Warehouse Stationary
